It seems Playstation Store is going to launch their own comic store! I'll check out the store and see how big the manga will be. Reading off PSP screen is not really nice, but then if they charge 420 yen for books that cost more on paper, I wouldn't mind trying to buy from them. Rather than comics though, I wish they would do novels because with age, I'm more into words than pure pictures, especially for BL. There's not much depth to the story of BL manga, there are always exceptions, like Ze for instance, but I still think it's easier to find better stories in novels than manga :P

Also, rather than BL novels, lately, I'm into normal light novels and just "slashing" the characters MY WAY XDD. Dunno why but it's so much fun when you're reading a novel where the author doesn't intend (sometimes they do but anyway) for BL pairings but you find hints and can exercise the unlimited powers of imagination. I've just laid my hands on the Yuusha series by Kagami Takaya because I've heard it's slashable XDDDDD.

Tomodachi Collection

This game is totally addicting!
It is a simple game where you have an island and you create Mii to live on that island.
My island is called DG5 island and all my mii are, of course, seiyuu :P.
At first, I only have male seiyuu on my island but I realize you need females to get some features going, so I create female personas for them, like Kamiya Hiroko, Ono Daiko, Sugita Tomoko, etc. XDDD.

Basically you just go around and solve the problems of your Mii, and here are some interesting features:

* You can also teach them to speak special words (the sound software is like vocaloid, only not as pretty).
I taught HiroC to say "OnoD, kimochi warui" and "uusai, kawaii to iiu na!"
And taught OnoD to say "HiroC, tsundere" XD
And I made JunJun (Fukuyama) speak extremely fast (like the real thing!)

You can test how well characters match each other (HiroC & OnoD = 90%, so are SakuSuzu) ! Highest though is Sugita and Terishima ... 100% XDDD. Heck Sugita, careful Daichu will go after you XDDD (those who listen to SZBH knows what I'm saying).

Characters can also sing songs (but dunno why OnoD sings HORRIBLE *O* when the real OnoD actually sings quite well.

Funniest thing so far is that the day the latest DGS (episode 135) is on air, OnoD is absent because he's down with flu. Then I switch on my DSi and OnoD Mii is also down with flu XDDDDDD.

Another funny thing i when OnoD and Yuukyan fought and couldn't be friends again (took me a long while to get them back together again). Anyway, they were throwing stuff at each other and scolding each other XDDDDD.

Maybe I should get on twitter and just report the funny stuff from my tomodachi collection!
Unfortunately, I can't play this online (only with DS wireless) and so I can't play with my friends as my RL friends can't read Japanese T_T. I wonder when the English version will come out.

Light Novels

First many thanks to

gokumew2 for helping me with the famitsu tv shows!　Kamiyan and Kaneda's interactions are really interesting.

Recently I am addicted to reading light novels (sweat).
Compared to manga, light novels seem to be gradually taking up more spaces at local bookstores. Since there are bookstores that specifically sell manga, traditional bookstores really get otaku customers (laugh). With the light novel boom though, many mainstream bookstores are also selling light novels and I think this is a good thing because many children nowadays don't read novels anymore (aside from the ones on their school's reading lists). Though light novels can be quite brainless sometimes, they still channel kids from TV and games back to books.

The book I'm currently reading is Drrrrr! (forgot how many r XD, Kamisama Game (this also has a manga version and is serialized ... or was (?) in Asuka, and finally Marginal. Marginal has a different taste from others because the main hero is rather scary in the first volume. If anyone has good recommendations, please let me know. I prefer ones with MEGANE CHARACTERS!

I want to watch the show with Kamiyan and Kaneda Tomoko because they're a funny pair. So I bought the tickets for Famitsu TV without READING THE FAQ! I just discover that I can't play the video outside Japan (cry). I wonder if anyone in Japan who is kind enough to download the movie for me? Please leave a message if you can help.
